Trans-National Access in TRANSVAC2, so far...

TRANSVAC2 offers high-quality technical services to support the development of prophylactic and therapeutic vaccines for both human and animal use. These services are not restricted to any disease area. Services are offered free of charge, with few exceptions. Academic and non-academic research groups, SMEs and industries can apply to access such support.  

 

So far (mid-2021) TRANSVAC2 had 11 TNA open calls, which received a total of 86 applications, with a success rate of approx. 60% of all projects being granted.

What are the most sought after services?

Applicants apply preferentially for services within the Technology and Animal models platform. There is also significant demand for TNA7 services, Immunocorrelates and Systems Biology.

Who applies for TRANSVAC2 TNA Services?

Members of the research community worldwide can apply for TRANSVAC2 support. As per the eligibility criteria, 20% of TRANSVAC2 support can be provided to applicants from non-EU countries.
