Call Description
In order to sustain vaccine research infrastructure in Europe, the TRANSVAC consortium will consider the integration of new partners into the TRANSVAC infrastructure, mainly when they can offer are services which are not covered by the current work plan.
The services provided by the potential new partners will be integrated in the advertising plan and the transnational access call in order for the potential new partners to extend their network and make their services available on a paid basis to the scientific community.
1.1 Important notice
TRANSVAC will not provide cash funding or any kind of financial support in the context of this call to the potential new consortium members.
1.2 Scope: which Type of Applications is TRANSVAC looking for?
TRANSVAC seeks to support vaccine-related projects currently in the preclinical phase of development. TRANSVAC’s goal is it to support and accelerate experimental vaccine projects by providing access to the services and expertise contained within the TRANSVAC Infrastructure. Any potential new partner that can provide services that are not yet covered in the TRANSVAC Infrastructure can apply if the eligibility criteria are fulfilled.

1.3 Eligibility Criteria
Following eligibility criteria should be fulfilled in order to be considered as a new consortium member:
Type of services that can be delivered:
- scientific value
- economic value
- infrastructure value
The application dossier should include:
- description of the partner institution
- description of services and scientific excellence
Furthermore, in order to be eligible the legal entity of the potential new partner must be established in a Member State or in an Associated country, or have been created under EU law (e.g. a European Economic Interest Grouping).
The TRANSVAC Management Team will check for eligibility criteria and the TRANSVAC Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) will review the dossier with regard to the services offered and scientific excellence. The TRANSVAC SAC will then give a recommendation to the TRANSVAC Steering Committee (SC). The potential new partners that fulfil the eligibility criteria and that are selected by the SC will be included in Annex I of the Grant Agreement as consortium member.
New partners need to be cost neutral i.e. the services should be free or paid and should be reported in accordance with the European Commission Seventh Framework Programme reporting guidelines. The potential new partner should agree with the rules of procedure of TRANSVAC and agree to sign the TRANSVAC Consortium Agreement
