1st October 2009 - Official Start of TRANSVAC  

The TRANSVAC consortium officially commenced activities on the 1st of October 2009. This marked the start of a series of preparations to fully establish the functionality of the TRANSVAC consortium. This includes implementation of the management structure as well as preparation of the necessary governance and communication tools. It is planned that the first advertising of TRANSVAC’s services, which will be made available to external groups, shall occur in Q2 2010.

January 2010 - TRANSVAC is taking off

The kick-off meeting of the TRANSVAC consortium was held in Brussels on January 12th and 13th, 2010. This meeting marked the beginning of the project's activities and was attended by all project partners. During this meeting the nomination of the external Scientific Advisory Committee, who provide impartial advice to the project, and of the User Selection Panel, who select the individuals or groups to benefit from TRANSVAC, was decided.

February 2010 - TRANSVAC publishes its Press Release
